A Chinese Pale Celadon Jade Brush Washer Qing Dynasty, 19th Century
This piece is intricately hand carved in the form of a large oval basin in the centre, flanked by two dragons supporting on either side, further carved in openwork with a strong man in squatting pose, with his muscular arms holding a large ruyi head, all supported on a large base incised with swirling clouds, the stone of even pale celadon colour.
